I have had an outstanding recall on the car for more than a year - BMW wrote to me to say the parts were now available and the dealer confirmed the work would be done - but it wasnt. Dealer said the parts were not available. Grrrr.

I received a call before putting my car in for MOT and service, asking if I had anything that needed to be looked at, and how Barrett's could make my experience extra special. The work I flagged wasn't done and car wasn't washed.

I felt I was being made responsible for the fault on my car. I have driven BMW's for the past 14 years and feel I know my way round the basics. There are two things one has to do when parking. Press the off button and lock the car via the key fob.

My dash cam was unplugged for the service but never plugged back in, I didn't realise till I was on the motorway. I was called once my service and MOT was completed but not when my car was cleaned and ready to be picked up, I had to call the recept

The fault in my IX1 could not be detected and fixed. I got no reassurance from the dealer that the problem will not happen again. Considering that I was stranded with the car in the middle of France that's not good enough.

The solution for the problem was not really a great one. I still find it very strange and a total pain that every time I wash my car I have to take it for a drive so that my hand brake does not get stuck. Its not a great solution.

Not Barretts fault per say, but they couldn't do the work due to requirement that my headlights were completely 100% covered in compensation before they could do the work under warranty

Very well organised with great communication throughout regarding cost and updates. Check-in process seamless, and I was able to have a loan car that was ready for me to collect when I dropped my car off so that the service did not impact on my day.

I had asked for someone to unclip the centre seat belt (it repacks into the roof) because I was unable to release it. I was told this would be done unfortunately it was not, I did not realise this until I was on my way home .

Very happy. Was recovered to Barretts by BMW Assistance following a puncture on the motorway. They had me back on the road in 90 minutes and the staff were very friendly and helpful, even offering me an office to work in whilst I waited.

I lost a month's MOT due to an error by the booking team. The compensation offered does not reflect their error and the inconvenience to me. I expected better by a main dealer. Dropped off at 07:45am, the car was not ready until 5pm, then chased.

On this occasion they cleared the re all issue but I had another on the passenger restraint. After looking on forums it's a fault which many have yet BMW don't do a recall on what can only be seen as a safety issue..why not resolve the fault?

The guy that served me was very friendly and efficient explains things well just was hadn't watch the video explaining the tyres only the sheet that had x2 tyres needed so best he checks the health checks before issuing to the customer

Nothing wrong with the service. They couldn't fit me in the week I treid to make an appointment so had to wait over two weeks until I returned from holiday. Driving whilst away without windscreen washer was dangerous and difficult.

Bringing a 14 year old vehicle back to a main dealer for servicing is a conscious choice. Whilst expensive I recognise the value of maintaining the main dealer service record. I value the video report from the technician.

Do not like booking in with the automated system. It is not capable of accepting all of the comments I wish to pass on. Also feels as if the customer is simply a means to keeping the dealership in business and simply a means to an end. Impersonal.

I arrived without appointment because of a puncture on one of my front run flat tyres. Within 20 minutes a I was driving back to work with a replacement vehicle. By 5pm my own repaired car was ready for pick up
