Chris made the experience exceptionally special with a pre-delivery video, a 'day before' teaser video with some helpful reminders and a dramatic reveal on delivery day. It was an awesome experience that will live with me for a very long time.

Wasn't told that mot would take 2.5 hours when booking. Kept comfy with tea and fruit, but upset my schedule, as I had allowed an 90 min for an MOT based on experience of other booked MOT's over the years. Car was washed though to be fair.

I have had an outstanding recall on the car for more than a year - BMW wrote to me to say the parts were now available and the dealer confirmed the work would be done - but it wasnt. Dealer said the parts were not available. Grrrr.

I received a call before putting my car in for MOT and service, asking if I had anything that needed to be looked at, and how Barrett's could make my experience extra special. The work I flagged wasn't done and car wasn't washed.

I felt I was being made responsible for the fault on my car. I have driven BMW's for the past 14 years and feel I know my way round the basics. There are two things one has to do when parking. Press the off button and lock the car via the key fob.

My dash cam was unplugged for the service but never plugged back in, I didn't realise till I was on the motorway. I was called once my service and MOT was completed but not when my car was cleaned and ready to be picked up, I had to call the recept

The fault in my IX1 could not be detected and fixed. I got no reassurance from the dealer that the problem will not happen again. Considering that I was stranded with the car in the middle of France that's not good enough.

The solution for the problem was not really a great one. I still find it very strange and a total pain that every time I wash my car I have to take it for a drive so that my hand brake does not get stuck. Its not a great solution.
